Jaime’s passion for the natural world stems from her upbringing on her family’s Missouri farm, where hard work and trust shaped her values. As the founder of Circle V Landscape Architecture, she is known for thoughtful design, collaboration, and exceeding client expectations. A perfectionist by nature, she thrives on turning challenges into opportunities, believing every landscape has the power to make a positive impact. Outside of work, Jaime enjoys hiking with her family, gardening with her kids, and giving back through volunteer work with organizations like Austin Angels and Urban Roots.
Favorite plant? I always gravitate toward truly native plants—we need to embrace wildscaped landscapes to minimize water use and maintenance.
Childhood memory that inspired your love for landscapes? Tasting the sweet nectar hidden at the base of clover flower petals.
Dream project? Designing a fully native and self-sustaining landscape.
If you weren’t a landscape architect, what would you be? Working in a greenhouse propagating plants.
One tool you can’t work without? A good sketchbook—ideas always start on paper.
